Some weeks ago, Gigabyte announced that they will come on the market with Android-powered smartphones. Now, the company says they’re working at an Android smartphone which will debut next month. It doesn’t have a name for the moment but we know for sure that it’s part of GSmart Series.
The phone will be running under Android 1.6, featuring a trackball , 2.8-inch QVGA display, 2MP camera , Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0, GPS application, slot for microSD card, a Qualcomm ESM7225 528 MHz CPU supported by 256MB RAM and 512MB ROM.
Gigabyte’s Android-powered phone will go on sale next month for $300, which I think it is not so expensive for an Android smartphone.
