Garmin-Asus Nüvifone A50 to have Avanced GPS Technology

The co-branded alliance Garmin-Asus announced today the Garmin-Asus nüvifone A50.  The Android-powered smartphone has a variety of location technologies and applications and it is the first to include the Garmin navigation with turn-by-turn and voice prompted directions.

The nüvifone A50 features a 3.5-inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen display with finger-friendly user interface, QWERTY touchscreen keyboard, 3MP auto-focus camera with geotagging functionality and 3G support, GPS, Bluetooth, accelerometer sensor, 4GB internal storage and microSD card slot.

The nüvifone A50 also features Google Search, Google Maps, Gmail, Youtube, Android Market and over 20.000 downloadable apps so that each user can customize its phone freely.

The Garmin-Asus nüvifone A50 will be available in Europe in the first half of 2010. Pricing details will be given in the future.
