Acer’s latest netbook, the Aspire One 521, comes with AMD processor and not with the standard Intel Atom as we were expecting.
The Acer Aspire One 521 Netbook features a 10.1 inch LCD display and, under the hood, it hides a 1.2Ghz AMD V105 single core processor on a AMD M880G chipset and ATI Radeon HD4225 graphics. Other specification include Bluetooth 2.0 and HDMI out.
But that’s all for the moment, no other technical specification were officially announced. Even so, the Aspire One 521 will probably feature 1GB of RAM, 160GB or 250GB hard disk drive, all of these running under Windows 7.
The Acer Aspire One 521 Netbook hasn’t officially been announced yet so there’s no information available on when it will enter the market or about pricing.
