Nokia N8 : The First Symbian^3 Handset Goes Official

Announced a few months ago, the Nokia N8 is finally official and it seems to deliver an impressive new Symbian UI.

As Nokia announced in the past, the phone runs Symbian^3 and is a touchscreen-only device. The 3.5″ display has a resolution of 360 x 640 pixels and features multi-touch input method, accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate and scratch-resistant surface.

Talking about its storage capacity should be a pleasure since it has 16GB of internal memory and a microSD card slot for up to 32GB. The phone also features 256MB RAM, 512 MB ROM, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, micro USB 2.0, ARM 11 680 MHz processor, 3D graphics  accelerator.

You wanna know something about its camera? Outstanding is the word. It comes with a 12 megapixel Carl Zeiss optics camera with 4000×3000 maximum resolution, autofocus, xenon flash, geo-tagging, face and smile recognition. It also comes with a secondary VGA videocall camera.

The Nokia N8 will go on sale in Q3 of 2010 for about $500 and it will be available in five different colors.
