Samsung And Sprint Mobile Network Developing Eco-Friendly Mobile Phone

Samsunt Restore

Preparing for the celebration of the 40th anniversary of Earth Day, Samsung and the mobile network Sprint have agreed on developing a new green mobile phone, the Samsung Restore.

The phone’s body is made from post consumer recycled plastic and it can be recycled again at a rate of 84%. The Samsung Restore comes with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, an optical joystick, 2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, microSD card slot and other.

The Samsung Restore will go on sale this summer and it will be available in two colors, Midnight and Limeade and, to emphasize its green origins, it also comes with a range of eco themed ring tones and screen savers. For the moment, we have no information on when it will exactly enter the market or about pricing.
