Kingston Has Launched The New 64GB SDXC UHS-1 Class 10 Memory Card

Kingston has launched a new SDXC card at Computex 2010. Called the 64GB SDXC UHS-1, the memory card was designed only for digital cameras, camcorders and laptops and it can’t be used on a mobile phone yet.

The SDXC card is speed Class 10 and features a minimum data transfer speed of 10MB/sec, up to 60MB/s read speed and up to 35MB\s write speed. The new SDXC card will be compatible with devices such as HDTVs, nav devices, media players or computers in the near future and it will also be compatible with devices from Panasonic and Canon very soon.

Kingston has already begun to ship the 64GB SDXC Class 10. UHS-1 and should be available for purchase by the end of this month for $499.
