The new PowerV Duo induction charger is just what you need to save your self the hassle of untangling wires, when your devices have finished charging.

The new PowerV Duo, from Konnet Technologies, is an induction charging dock that fits two Wiimotes and two USB devices and charges them simultaniously. Become a Virtual Flyer with Wings for Wii

The Nintendo Wii has had its share of wacky accessories but the soon to be launched wings for Wii are plain crazy.

I have to say I’m not the biggest fan of Nintendo’s wonder console and this latest gadget doesn’t improve things at all. Apparently, the new Wii Fit Plus update includes a new game, called Bird’s-Eye Bull’s-Eye, where you have to flap your arms as fast as possible, while keeping your balance on the balance board, in order to guide a chicken to a series of targets, to collect points.

Now that’s embarrassing enough, unless you’re a toddler, but the guys at CDA Digital thought they’d make things better if they launched a pair of strap-on nylon wings to “add a sensation that you will not be mimicking a flying chicken with your hands alone.” Oh yeah, great thinking guys.

Woodpecker Alarm Clock Doesn’t Tell Time

What’s the loveliest sound you’d like to wake up to, in the morning. Judging by the choice for this very special alarm clock, woodpecking is among the top choices.

That’s one of the ways anyone could explain why this woodpecker alarm clock even exists. I’ll tell you what it’s not for though, telling time. See, this weird little device was designed for one specific task, and that’s waiking you up in the gentlest, most pleasant way possible. Devon Works Tread 1 Bulletproof Wristwatch

Most haute couture wristwatches try to maintain that classic look that usually appeals to filthy rich horology enthusiasts, but Devon Works is trying to break the pattern with its Tread 1.

This technological wonder shows time with the help of four 2/1000th thin belts, moving on a central chassis. This makes it look like the watch parts are actually floating inside the case. The Tread 1 is powered by four state of the art compact microstep motors that charge wirelessly. That’s right, for this space-age time-piece, Devon Works has integrated wireless technology that will keep it running for two weeks, on a single charge.

Made from high grade stainless steel, Tread 1 is actually bulletproof, so you can use it to block a bullet, if you’re quick enough. But this (possibly)life-saving gadget will have you you fork out $15,000, when it comes out. Check out the Devon Works Tread 1, in action, after the jump.

So if you want all the attention when you enter the theater, go to Etsy and order the Kraken seampunk 3D goggles for $200.

USB Notebook Crime Prevention Sensor

USB Notebook Crime Prevention Sensor

The USB Notebook Crime Prevention Sensor is an interesting and helpful (not really) gadget from Thanko. You just need to plug it into your laptop and activate it and, when someone tries to steal your laptop and unplug the Crime Prevention Sensor, the alarm starts.

But the question is : Is there any thief in this world who will unplug the device first and then steal your laptop?  Believe me, any thief who is not stupid will take your laptop and run without checking if there is any device plugged into it. So we don’t know for sure what the guys from Thanko were thinking when they came up with this idea but, if you find it helpful, you can have it for $26 from Geekstuff4u
