Thrustmaster has unveiled today the Ferrari GT Cockpit 430 Scuderia Edition, a racing controller for PC and PlayStation 3 which features wireless connectivity for both platforms.

The 23lbs controller has a solid cockpit construction with metal structure that will maintain the racing lines in quick turns.  The cockpit works up to 10 meters away from the device is connected and has a battery life of 50 hours at full charge.

The racing controller is adjustable, depending on the user’s size and also according to the seating type (sofa/chair). The Ferrari GT Cockpit uses the H.E.A.R.T HallEffect Accurat Technology which offers an accurate precision, important for your gaming experience.

The cockpit has the colors of the Ferrari 430 Scuderia and the 11-inch wheel looks like the original Scuderia wheel down to the smallest details. The Thrustmaster Ferrari GT Cockpit racing controller will retail next month for $249.99.

The new PowerV Duo induction charger is just what you need to save your self the hassle of untangling wires, when your devices have finished charging.

The new PowerV Duo, from Konnet Technologies, is an induction charging dock that fits two Wiimotes and two USB devices and charges them simultaniously. All you need to do is place the Wiimotes on the PowerV Duo, with or without the Motion Plus and silicone casing, and wait for them to finish charging.

The PowerV Duo detects the remotes as soon as they’re placed on it, and begins charging, according to its rechargeable battery strength. The LED indicator is red during the charging process and turns blue, once it has completed. The first touch screen watch for the fashion market has been created by Kenneth Cole and comes with some interesting features. It has electro luminescent back light, chronograph technology, a 32 city world time function, stainless steel construction and water resistance.

Kenneth Cole and department stores like Macy’s and Dillard’s are selling the watches that come in three different styles with prices from $125 to $175.

Another cool idea from Kenneth Cole is their ad campaign called ” A Defining Moment in Time ” and where smartphone users who take a picture of a bar code will view a video that is automatically uploaded on their handsets.

The Nintendo Wii has had its share of wacky accessories but the soon to be launched wings for Wii are plain crazy.

I have to say I’m not the biggest fan of Nintendo’s wonder console and this latest gadget doesn’t improve things at all. Apparently, the new Wii Fit Plus update includes a new game, called Bird’s-Eye Bull’s-Eye, where you have to flap your arms as fast as possible, while keeping your balance on the balance board, in order to guide a chicken to a series of targets, to collect points.

Now that’s embarrassing enough, unless you’re a toddler, but the guys at CDA Digital thought they’d make things better if they launched a pair of strap-on nylon wings to “add a sensation that you will not be mimicking a flying chicken with your hands alone.” Oh yeah, great thinking guys.

I don’t know when these things will be available, but you won’t see me flapping my flabby arms any time soon.
