Spring Desing Alex eReader Available for Pre-Order

The Spring Design Alex eReader was announced in October last year but today you can pre-order it through Spring Design.

The dual screen device is running on Google’s Android OS and it has a 6-inch EPD screen and a full color 3.5-inch touchscreen LCD. The eReader is capable of full Web browsing via the WiFi connectivity which allows you to surf the internet, watch videos or communicate with others while reading ebooks.
The storage capacity can be upgraded up to 32GB due to the microSD card slot, making it perfect for its users to store enough data on their eReader. [More…] The device also offers support for some Google Android applications and comes with headphones, AC/USB power connector and a padded cover

Asus DR-900 Unveiled Today at CeBIT

Asus DR-900 ebook Reader

Asus has launched at today’s CeBIT its first 9-inch ebook reader, the DR-900. The device features a 9-inch touch-sensitive display with a resolution of 1024 x 768p, Wi-fi connectivity and optional 3G connectivity.

The battery will last long enough to read 10,000 pages on a single charge. Also, the gadget has 4GB of internal memory, a 3.5mm audio jack and supports the following file formats : PDF, TXT, MP3 and ePUB.

There is no information yet about the release date or price.
