With a little gizmo, called Drawdio, now you can, sort of.

Invented using a hacksawed “harmonium” kit, the Drawdio is one of those wonderful gadgets that no one really needs, but everybody loves. Basically, using this ingenious device, you can turn anything and anyone into an 8-bit musical instrument.

While Drawdio works with anything, its inventor thinks it best suits a graphite pencil. This combo allows anyone to draw a line, a circle, or even a musical instrument, and then play it using their fingers. The best thing about Drawdio is that it’s for sale, at just $17.55. Now this is worth at least that, for the chance to literally play someone like a fiddle.

The two drives are protected by shock-absorbant silicone that should protect them from just about anyrhing. According to the manufacturer, the SA7 can withstand up to 14,000 Gs.

Apart from the fact that you’ll probably never need another pair of headphones, ever again, thanks to the use of aluminum, Sleek Audio SA7 offer an extra octave of sound. But owning a pair of indestructable headphones doesn’t come cheap. The SA7 aren’t on sale, yet, but they’ll soon hit the market, with a pricetag of between $350-$400. And you’ll have to fork out an extra Benjamin for the wireless version.

Coby has launched a new MP3 player, if we can call it a player, because it rather looks more like a computer mouse than a MP3 player.

The Coby Micro MP3 Player has an unique design and offers you 2GB for your MP3 and WMA files, a 3.5mm jack, and a USB 2.0 connection. As you can see in the picture above, it comes with no buttons, so until we get our hands on it we cannot tell you how you’ll play music on it.

The Lithium Polymer rechargeable battery will give you 5 hours of music playback on one charge. For the moment, there are no details about its release date or about pricing.

What are you thinking when you hear about the Hercule DJ controller? Some enormous DJ tool with infinite buttons used by the best DJs in the world? Probably yes, but you’ll be surprised to know that, actually, it is a 2-deck DJ controller for the amateur DJ in each of you, but it can also be used by mobile DJs.

Known as the Mk4, it features 2 stereo outputs, one for mixing and the other for previewing tracks, and 2 stereo audio inputs for analog audio sources such as MP3 players, vinyl turntables and more. The controller has a compact design and it can be connected to a PC or Mac via a USB cable.

The Hercule DJ Mk4 also has two jog wheels, one cross fader, two volume faders, two pitch encoder knobs, 6 EQ knobs and 36 buttons that are making it not a professional tool, but ideal for mobile DJing. It comes with a shoulder strap for easy carrying and a protective cover and it will start shipping in June for only $199.99.
