It’s always fun to play a prank on someone who’s eyes are practically glues to the TV screen, and with the TV Poltergeist, it’s a piece of cake.

TV Poltergeist is an ingenious gadget able to turn your TV on and off, at intervals between 5 and 20 minutes. All you have to do is place it somewhere in the room, with the LED sensor pointing at the television, and let it do the rest. Before you know it, your family and friends will scramble, trying to figure out what’s going on, while you’re observing and trying not to burst into laughter.

This crazy gadget needs three AAA batteries, which will keep it running for months. Imagine how many pranks you can pull during that time. TV Poltergeist retails at $13 and you can find it at Think Geek.
