Dell Unveils New Inspiron M501R Laptop With AMD Phenom II X4 Processor

As you are probably used, the guys over at Dell never cease to work, so they’re now launching a new laptop, called the Dell Inspiron M501R.

We can say about this new toy that it’s quite powerful, considering that it comes equipped with an AMD Phenom II X4 processor. The laptop has a 15.6-inch HD screen with 720p resolution and it also comes with powerful 1GB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250 or HD 550v graphics at your choice.

HP Pavilion dv6 Laptop Sports Quad-Core CPUs

The new HP Pavilion dv6 is a laptop that features a 15.6″ touchscreen display and it will make its debut on May 19th.  The laptop sports Quad Core CPUs, AMD or Intel at your choice, up to 1TB of storage capacity, equipped with Altec Lansing speakers on an advanced Dolby audio system, HDMI, VGA and eSATA.

Also, the dv6 uses company’s MediaSmart and TouchSmart software which provides support for entertainment apps such as Hulu, Twitter and other. The laptop is available in a brushed aluminum casing or in HP imprint finishes in black cherry, champagne and sonoma red.

The Maingear VYBE is a limited edition gaminc PC which Maingear has put up for sale today. The machine comes equipped with AMD’s latest processor, the Phenom II X6.

What all the gamers should know is that the Maingear VYBE wants to offer high-end gaming performance. So you can choose between two models of the AMD Phenom II X6 processor; the AMD Athlon II X3 and X4 processors are also available.

You can choose up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM, hard drive from 300GB to 2TB and solid state drives from 80GB to 160GB. The machine also features an integrated memory card reader and ATI Radeon and NVIDIA GeForce graphics at your choice.

AMD-Powered Xpphone Gets Offcial Price

The much talked-about Xpphone, powered by an AMD computer processor, has finally gotten an official price and a series of new photos.

Info about the anticipated AMD phone has been slowly dripping over the last few months, but nothing had been revealed about the price. Well wonder no longer AMD fans, the Xpphone price has finally been revealed. UMPCportal reveals the upcoming smartphone will cost between 400-650 USD.

Powered by an AMD processor, the Xpphone will run Windows XP. Features include voice calling capabilities, 3G connectivity and a full QWERTY keyboard. It looks like the low-powered UMPC will be able to match today’s high-end smartphones.
