ExoPC Slate Tablet looks like the iPad

After we took part at the big event where Apple presented their latest innovation, the iPad, lots of tablets have already been announced for the near future.

The ExoPC Slate is a 8.9-inch tablet that is similar to the iPad on the exterior, but it sports something different under the hood : it’s powered by an Atom N270 processor at 1.6GHz, 2GB DDR2 RAM, a 32GB SSD with SD expansion and runs under Windows 7. The tablet allows you to do things that Apple‘s iPad can’t do, like multitasking.


HP Unveils Overpriced Mini 5102 Netbook

The brand new Mini 5102 from HP has been unveiled, but with some “minor” changes about the pricing, being sold for $749 instead of $399( when it was announced) . It sports a 1.66GHz Atom N450 CPU, 2GB RAM, 160GB 7200RPM HDD, 10.1-inch display with 1024 x 600 resolution, 2MP webcam, Wi-Fi connectivity and Bluetooth 2.1 .

One of the reasons for the high price of this model is that Windows XP Professional is available through Windows 7 downgrade rights, but it is still hope for a cheaper version, as HP promised some time ago.

Pine Trail Powered MH380 Mini-Netbook from Fujitsu

The MH380 mini-netbook from Fujitsu has a stylish design with chrome-ring shell and includes a scroll-wheel next to its track pad. The netbook is powerd by a Pine Trail Atom processor, it has a 10.1-inch LED screen with a max resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, 250GB storage capacity on SATA HDD, 2GB of RAM memory and a 1.3MP camera. It also offers support for SD SDHC cards and it weigh 1.3 kg .
