The announcement was made at the Monaco Media Forum in Monte Carlo where Microsoft revealed the opportunity for marketers to customize the desktop or internet browsers with their brand names,logos or sounds.All these features will be available for desktop backgrounds,borders,slide shows or application audio elements.

“These are great examples of Microsoft innovation and technology coming together to enable top global brands to reach audiences in new and interesting ways.” said Darren Huston,vice president of the Consumer and Online Organization at Microsoft.

The global brands that are now taking part of Microsoft’s plan are Ducati,Infiniti,Ferrari,Porsche and Twentieth Century Fox.Also,users can download from Microsoft other themes representing Xbox “Gears of War” ,  Zune and Bing’s Best and Lugares Coridos.
