Thrustmaster has unveiled today the Ferrari GT Cockpit 430 Scuderia Edition, a racing controller for PC and PlayStation 3 which features wireless connectivity for both platforms.

The 23lbs controller has a solid cockpit construction with metal structure that will maintain the racing lines in quick turns.  The cockpit works up to 10 meters away from the device is connected and has a battery life of 50 hours at full charge.

The racing controller is adjustable, depending on the user’s size and also according to the seating type (sofa/chair). The Ferrari GT Cockpit uses the H.E.A.R.T HallEffect Accurat Technology which offers an accurate precision, important for your gaming experience.


Acer Announces Limited Edition Ferrari Smartphone


Acer announced it will once again be teaming up with sports car manufacturer Ferrari to produce a limited edition Acer Ferrari smartphone.

Blackberries and iPhones are way to common nowadays, and the other smartphones just aren’t good enough. These are the problems trendy people are confronted with in these hard times, and there’s not much they can do about it. Luckily Acer is coming to the rescue.

The Korean tech giant has teamed up with Italian car maker Ferrari for a limited edition smartphone. Not many details have been revealed so far, other than it will run on the Android 2.1 OS and have some strong Ferrari cues and branding. The official launch of the Acer Ferrari smartphone will take place sometime in March 2010.

Branded Ultraportable Notebook : Acer Ferrari One

Acer Ferrari One is a branded notebook by Acer in collaboration with Ferrari. They say that “In the true spirit of the Ferrari racing team, the Ferrari One notebook combines performance and extreme portability”. This means that “under the hood” you’ll find a 1.2GHz AMD Athlon 64 X2 dual-core processor, a 250GB hard drive , 4 GB DDR 2 RAM memory and ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3200 graphics. The battery lasts for about 5hrs and the notebook is ultraportable due to its small dimensions, 11.6-inch in thickness and 1.5 kg weight.

You can find the Acer Ferrari One notebook at a price of  $599.
