Sleek Audio has announced it will be launching a special line of headphones, made with military grade aluminum and carbon fibre. The two drives are protected by shock-absorbant silicone that should protect them from just about anyrhing. According to the manufacturer, the SA7  can withstand up to 14,000 Gs.

Sony Unveils The MDR-RF4000K Wireless Headphones

Sony MDR-RF 4000K Headphones

Sony has unveiled a new pair of wireless headphones that is perfect for your home-theater environment. The MDR-RF4000K, as it is called, uses secure digital RF signal, offering a range of up to 30 meters (100 feet).

The headphones have a great and stylish design and feature a 40mm long-stroke diaphragm which will give you a clear sound. The built-in NiMH battery is capable of keeping the headphones “alive” for up to 7 hours on one charge, but you can still switch to AAA battery mode that will offer another 10 hours of runtime.

The Sony MDR-RF 4000K headphones will be available by April 2010 but the price hasn’t been announced yet.

Custom Steampunk Skullcandy Headphones by DLi$h

As if Skullcandy SK-Pro headphones weren’t cool enough, a modder who calls himself DLi$h decided to give them a steampunk upgrade.

The Skullcandy SK-Pro headphones are designed to deliver ultimate audio performance and you can usually find them around the necks of established DJs. But DLi$h’s custom set would fit better at a rave party in a steampunk universe.

He used acrylic paint to give the headphones that distressed metal effect and hand stitched them himself, using sculpey. For some reason, DLi$h’s steampunk headphones also feature badges and insignias used on US Navy’s F18 Fighter Jets.

TDK’s Wireless Headphones Use Kleer Technology (Not Bluetooth)

TDK has just announced its latest product which will go on sale in Japan on March 1, the TH-WR700 headphones. This wireless pair of headphones is using Kleer technology instead of Bluetooth. The guys from TDK claim that the technology they’re using offers better noise cancellation, up to 40db.

The TH-WR700 can be connected to any device that has a 3.5mm port. The headphones also features 32Ω impedance, 20Hz–20kHz frequency response, 108 dB/mW sensitivity and allows you to listen to music from up to 10 meters away.

You first had the Fleximus Spy Camera, now here’s another spying gadget.

The Bionic Ear with Headphones helps you to listen to someone talking from 100 meters away from you or to hear faint sounds from 20-30 meters away. Then you can record up to 12 seconds of what you hear. The device also features a monocular with 8x magnification.
