Viliv N5 MID Launch Postponed Until June

Those who were interested in the upcoming Viliv N5 MID 4.8-inch should know that the launch has been delayed, so we won’t see it earlier than June. And this means the new device won’t hit the shelves until July.

The Viliv N5 mobile internet device features a 4.8-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels and sports a 1.3GHz Atom Z520 processor, GMA 500 graphics, 32GB of flash storage and 1GB of RAM.  Other features include WiFi, Bluetooth and 3G. No details on pricing for the moment.

Mobilic E7 Gaming MID Looks Delicious

Every time a new gaming device is announced, I get a tingly feeling that goes all the way from the top of my head to the tip of my toes. I just wish I knew more about the Mobilic E7.

Mobilic probably sounds pretty unfamiliar, and that’s only normal, since this is relatively new company, founded in February 2009. The Mobilic E7 gaming MID is their first product, and it does make quite a first impression. Although not much is known about it yet, its introduction at MWC 2010 caused quite a stir in the gadget world.

The 4 inch WVGA display of the E7 hides a QWERTY keyboard and an interesting set of NES-inspired controls that look pretty comfortable to handle. Mobilic’s gaming MID is powered by a 600 Mhz CPU, and features 256 RAM as well as 8 Gb of Flash memory.

FSL to Release The New F718 Soon

FSL will come on the market with their latest MID ( Mobile Internet Device ) very soon. The F718, as it is called, runs under Windows XP and sports a 1.2GHZ VIA C7 processor supported with 1GB of RAM and 32GB SSD. The MID has a 7-inch touchscreen display at 800 x 600 resolution that offers handwriting recognition. Also, the F718 features Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity, a 1.3MP camera  and 5hours stand by time of battery life. The FSL F718 will come on the Chinese market very soon with a price of $586.

Sungworld anounces Android-Powered MID

Sungworld MID

This Mobile Internet Device (MID) from Sungworld will have Android as operating system and it is based on the ARM926 platform. Even if it doesn’t have a name yet, some of its specs were unveiled, showing a 7-inch 800×480 touchscreen,512MB RAM, 2GB SSD, Wi-Fi connectivity, it plays 1080p videos and features HDMI port. Sungworld’s Mobile Internet Device is expected to go on sale at the end of this month and we pray for a competitive price.
