<p>It is said to be the world&#8217;s lightest convertible tablet due to its small dimensions, measuring 1.2 &#8211; 1.7-inch in thickness and 3.2lbs weight. Under the water-resistant casing you will find an <span id="intelliTxt"> Intel Core i5 2.4Ghz processor,</span><span id="intelliTxt"> a 12.1&#8243; </span><span id="intelliTxt">multi-touch display that supports electronic stylus pen for handwriting recognition and a maximum resolution of </span><span id="intelliTxt">1280&#215;800p, 2GB of DDR3 RAM ( expandable to 6GB ) , a 250GB shock-resistant HDD. The OS remains at your choice, Windows 7 or XP.</span></p>
<p><span><span id="more-1598"></span></span><span>The Toughbook C1 Tablet also has </span><span id="intelliTxt">6 backlit tablet buttons (5 user-definable), 5 hours battery life if you choose the single battery version and 10 hours battery life for the dual battery version, otpional </span><span id="intelliTxt">integrated WWAN / Gobi2000 mobile broadband (EV-DO and HSPA), optional webcam, Bluetooth V2.1.</span></p>
<p><span>As for the security, the tablet features Fingerprint reader option which means that you&#8217;re the only one who can use the tablet if you activate the security option. </span></p>
<p><span>The Panasonic Toughbook C1 Tablet will hit the shelves worldwide in July 2010 for about $2500.</span></p>

<p>The <strong>D-Dock SC-H40</strong> from <a href="http://www.gadgetonian.com/2010/02/panasonic-announced-their-first-3d-blue-ray-disc-player/" target="_blank">Panasonic</a> is a stereo system which was designed to work with Apple’s <a href="http://www.gadgetonian.com/2010/02/bioserie-iphone-case-designed-to-be-environmentally-friendly/" target="_blank">iPhone</a> and iPod Touch. The device features a built-in CD player, a digital amplifier and integrated speakers. There is a sliding door on the back that will hide and protect your iPhone or iPod. The D-Dock also has an AM/FM tuner with a feature that allows you to record from radio , <a href="http://www.gadgetonian.com/2009/12/bluetooth-music-receiver/" target="_blank">Bluetooth</a> 2.1+EDR, an SD/SDHC/SDXC memory card slot and it comes with a remote that gives you full control of the device.</p>
<p><span id="more-1549"></span>The Panasonic D-Dock SC-H40 will be available in Japan from March with a selling price of $420. There are no details on when it will hit the shelves in Europe or in the US for the moment.</p>

<p>Panasonic has created its first 3D Blue-Ray disc player, the <span>DMP-BDT300. The device is based on Panasonic&#8217;s </span><span>UniPhier LSI chip which they say it is able to display </span><span>twice the information as a regular Blu-ray movie. Also, the </span><span>DMP-BDT300 features </span><span>Panasonic&#8217;s own Vieracast platform with </span><span>DLNA capability and supports </span><span>WLAN adaptors too, in case you can&#8217;t connect it to a network cable. </span></p>
<p><span>The device has USB and SD slots and supports formats like </span><span>JPEG, DivX Plus HD, </span><span>AVCHD, MPEG2 and others. There is also twin HD-out sockets to use audio and video at the same time.</span></p>

<p>Panasonic announced their upcoming SDXC cards which are bringing on the market two new models: 48GB and 64GB, both of them Class10 and it is said they are capable of up to 22Mbps transfer speed. The 48GB card can record somewhere around 6 hours and 20 minutes while the 64GB SDXC should be enough for about 8.5 hours recording.</p>
<p>Panasonic also claimed that both of them will be available on February 19th.</p>
