The latest financial results are showing that Sony’s PSP sales are very low, considering that the sales number was about 14 million in 2008 and suffered a sudden drop to 9.9 million in 2009 and this regardless of the fact that Sony released the PSP Go last year.

So it is only a matter of time before Sony comes with a new plan. Rumors are saying that Sony could be saving the biggest surprise of this year’s E3 with the launch of a new console, the PSP 2. As for the next month’s E3, we already know a few big names who will take part to the event, such as Move, Natal and Nintendo with their 3DS.

So if this proves to be true, we can witness the launch of a new PSP console, the console that will bring Sony back on the podium.

The MDR-RF4000K, as it is called, uses secure digital RF signal, offering a range of up to 30 meters (100 feet).

The headphones have a great and stylish design and feature a 40mm long-stroke diaphragm which will give you a clear sound. The built-in NiMH battery is capable of keeping the headphones “alive” for up to 7 hours on one charge, but you can still switch to AAA battery mode that will offer another 10 hours of runtime.

The Sony MDR-RF 4000K headphones will be available by April 2010 but the price hasn’t been announced yet.

Japanese tech giant, Sony, has announced a slick line of 3D LCD TV’s scheduled to hit retailer shelves in June, and with it, a set of really expensive series of 3D glasses.

After Sony announced the prices of its 3D peripherals, it has become clear the Japanese manufacturer plans to cash in on not just the 3D LCDs, but accessories as well. I hope you’re sitting down, cause these prices might cause faints, and even seizures.

Sony’s TDG-BR100 and TDG-BR50 active shutter glasses, will be priced at $133 each, when they hit stores, in June. And a set of four Sony 3D glasses and infrared transmitter, to drive them, will have you fork out a staggering $587.

But it’s not all bad, Sony plans to give away two sets of glasses and the transmitter to anyone who buys its LX900 TV, priced at $3,900. And you thought Sony was greedy, didn’t you?

When the PS3 was first launched on the market, 120MB of its 512MB RAM were used only for OS applications and that means that less than 400MB of RAM were available for game developers.

While the Xbox 360 was using just 32MB for its operating system, the designers of PS3 have tried until now to bring some updates and improvements to the console in order to reduce the amount of RAM used by the OS. Now, they finally managed to reduce the number of MB used by the operating system to 50, which means that there is an additional amount of 70MB of RAM available for game developers to use at will.
