Toshiba RX Washable Tablet PC

Thanks to designer Geoffrey Cooper’s Toshiba RX tablet , nurses can finally say goodbye to those paper-written records.

Walking around the hospital with a clipboard and documenting cases can be a tough task and there’s even the risk of deteriorating the written records. But thanks to the Toshiba RX tablet pc, that needn’t be a problem anymore. The tablet allows medics to document and diagnose cases on the go, as well as communicate with each other more easily.

The Toshiba RX comes with a docking station and keyboard for doctors who enjoy desk work. The docking station acts as a charging system for the tablet pc, which features a removable and washable rubber casing. Now you don’t need to worry about infections.

Toshiba REGZA TVs to Have Built-in Blu-Ray Players

The technology may not be groundbreaking, but these are the first Blu-Ray disk TVs to be released by Toshiba.

The REGZA 32R1BDP (32-inch screen) and REGZA 26R1BDP (25-inch screen) only allow the watching of Blu-Ray disks, but sadly no recording. Now that would have been really helpful, but I guess you can’t have everything you wish for.

Both REGZA TVs feature WXGA resolution (1,366×768), digital and analogue TV tuners, an HDMI interface, LAN connectivity, and two USB ports. Toshiba will release its Blu-Ray playing video devices in Japan, next month. The 32-inch one will sell for $1,400 while the smaller TV will cost $1,200.

Sadly no word yet on international availability…yet.

Satellite T100 Series Laptops Are Toshiba’s Slimmest Yet

Toshiba apparently designed the Satellite T100 laptop series as a compromise between netbook and laptop, offering more capabilities in a much thinner, lighter package.

The Toshiba Satellite T10o series laptop is intended for people always on the mood, who need to get their work done without wasting a moment. When it’s time for recreation, the dual-core AMD processor and the Radeon HD video-card will certainly be able to handle the pressure. Both the Toshiba Satellite T115 and T135 are less than 1 inch thick and weigh between 3.5lbs and 3.9lbs.

Depending on the configuration you opt for, the Toshiba T100s will set you back from $449.99 to $699.99. Check the full specs after the jump.
