Nokia probably realized its 32 Gb X6 smartphone was a little to expensive for most and launched a more affordable version of its handheld.
Launched in November of 2009, the 32 Gb Nokia X6 had a price tag of $676 and that didn’t really convince people to line up and buy it. So the Finnish giant came up with a cheaper, 16 Gb version of the X6.
Featuring the same 3.2 inch touchscreen as its 32 Gb twin, runs Symbian and comes in the same color variants: black, white, white with pink, and white with yellow. It doesn’t include the Nokia music service, but you can probably overlook that.
The 16 Gb Nokia X6 includes a 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, dual LED flash and promises 18 days of stand-by time and 11.5 hours of continuous talk time. It also comes with the OVI maps navigation system and preinstalled games like Spore and Asphalt 4. (more…)
